Perhaps the best measure of musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound experience is how much gel we use and how many dedicated tutors we learn from.

With that in mind, the ESSR Ultrasound HUB was created to support your first steps in MSK ultrasound, with time to scan, ask questions and learn from experienced colleagues. Over three days, we will work through the essential ESSR scanning protocols in a program devoted entirely to live demonstrations and hands-on sessions.

I hope you leave with greater confidence in your MSK ultrasound examinations and a clear idea of how to keep improving.

GENERAL
INFORMATION

European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology is organising the "ESSR Ultrasound Hub".

Date: 29–31 January 2027, Friday-Sunday
Venue: Meeting and Event Center "SCALA", Ghent, Belgium

The course is intended for radiologists and physicians from other specialties who wish to build a solid foundation in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

NOTE:
- This introductory course focuses on MSK ultrasound fundamentals and basic ESSR scanning protocols, supporting colleagues who are beginning their practice or wish to refresh their core scanning skills.
- Places in the full course and resident categories are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
