WELCOME FROM THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

It is a privilege to invite you to our 10th Kaunas / Lithuania International Hematology / Oncology Colloquium. Despite having a short history, the meeting has an astonishing record of highlights and edge catting presentations. Key opinion leaders have reported their latest insights in malignant hematology, stem cell plasticity, gene editing and cellular therapy. This year we tried to pick up again the most advanced achievements in experimental and clinical hematology. We are extremely happy that leading scientists agree to share their insights and visions and are at disposition to exchange experience and answer open questions. Latest news on acute and chronic leukemia, stem cell transplantation, production and new clinical application of CAR-T  cells will be additional highlights of the meeting.

We hope that the colloquium will be useful to you as a physician across different disciplines, as a scientist, as a nurse and as a student. Even if the meeting is hybrid, you will have enough time to discuss topics with the presenters. Let`s celebrate 10 years of international advances in medicine through the colloquium and the continuous collaboration. Many thanks to the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno Klinikos and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences for hosting such an outstanding forum and all involved in the organization of the meeting.

GENERAL INFORMATION

10th Kaunas / Lithuania International Hematology / Oncology Colloquium
will be held on 23 May 2025 in a hybrid format, attendees are welcome to attend On-site or join Online.
- The link to participate online will be sent via email no later than one day before the start of the conference

Colloquium is intended for hematologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pediatric hematologists, transfusiologists, allergologists and clinical immunologists, biologists, biomedical technologists, clinical toxicologists, doctors of laboratory medicine, family doctors, geneticists, pathologists, pediatrics, physicists, radiologists and doctors of other specialities, nurses involved in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Official Colloquium language – English. Simultaneous translation service will not be provided.

Important for Lithuanian doctors only. Certificate of Attendance will be issued in the electronic system of the LSMU Centre for Postgraduate Studies MEDAS and also will be uploaded to the Lithuanian "Competence Platform of Health Care Specialists". Make sure that you have registered to this conference with the same email address which is used at MEDAS system.

You are kindly invited to submit Abstract for Online Poster Presentation at the 10th Kaunas / Lithuania International Hematology / Oncology Colloquium.

All abstracts will be reviewed. Accepted abstracts will be selected for Online Poster presentation and published in the Colloquium Online Abstract Book with ISBN code.
